We are distributed across forty countries and we have never had an all-hands in the same room. It works — on purpose.
Default to async, write everything down
Decisions live in documents, not meetings. Anyone can catch up at any time, in any timezone, without permission or a calendar invite.
Meetings are a tax on makers. Async is how a small team scales without burning out.
Remote-first is not a perk we tolerate; it is a competitive advantage we designed around.
